I want my home to be cozy and inviting, and that’s one of the reasons I quilt. I also hope for it to be unpretentious, full of baked goods, welcoming to folks of all kinds, and miraculously tidy and clean. (Miraculous because who has time for ALL OF THE CHORES.) I hope this blog will be as well.

I have been a fan of traditional and modern quilting for several years, and as of the start of this blog (April 2016) have 8.5 quilts to my name. I am partial to plaid and paisley, but chose the name because I love the idea of incorporating traditional/older elements into modern quilts. Cozy and clean. Nostalgic and new. Plaid, paisley, polka-dots, and pattern-free.
